In the realm of telecommunications, VNT plays a pivotal role in connecting India through our Super High-Efficiency SMPS, powering telecom towers nationwide, even in remote areas. This contributes to enhanced connectivity for end-users, enriching their lives.We empower solar farms with energy-efficient and sustainable solutions, such as Solar String Combiner Boxes featuring innovative low-power wireless monitoring. These plug-and-play solutions simplify supervision and facilitate predictions in solar installations in order to achieve maxiumum uptime. For the past seven years, VNT has been producing string combiner boxes and string monitoring boxes. Our contributions extend to supplying over 30 gigawatts of solar power plants across India and international territories, securing approximately 50% market share to date. We have emerged as prominent leaders in the industry. Our ongoing goal is to further solidify our position by aiming for a 60-70% market share within the next 2-3 years in global markets.At VNT, our vision is to help the world become greener, connected, and protected, while our mission is to simplify and provide innovative and efficient energy systems. BS :There is a significant discussion on green hydrogen; could you share your perspectives on this matter?
VNT :Green Hydrogen economy can do wonders for India with 1 million job opportunities & reversing the gear of climate change.The green hydrogen revolution signifies a monumental shift in the energy landscape, offering a sustainable, versatile, and clean energy source that has the potential to transform multiple industries while contributing significantly to the global effort to mitigate climate change.
The shift to green hydrogen will significantly reduce India’s carbon footprint, especially in industries that heavily rely on fossil fuels. This transition can play a vital role in meeting India’s climate change goals. Integrating green hydrogen into the energy mix will promote the utilization of excess renewable energy, helping to balance supply and demand and reducing curtailment of wind and solar power.
Moreover, the adoption of green hydrogen can transform transportation, reducing emissions from vehicles and contributing to cleaner air and reduced pollution.The development of a green hydrogen economy holds tremendous promise for India on various fronts, from job creation to addressing climate change challenges.
Hydrogen is already in use in various heavy industries and bringing in Green Hydrogen will change overall decarbonisation landscape very effectively.VNT is proud supplier of our high-quality products to Saudi Arabia’s distinguished and ambitious NEOM Green Hydrogen project too.
BS:Can you provide details about your recent achievements and projects?
VNT: VNT signs contract with L&T to supply Wireless String Monitoring Boxes for the World’s Largest Green Hydrogen plant at NEOM. “It is an honour and a proud moment for us to participate in world’s biggest green Hydrogen Mission with state-of-the-art technology fully developed and manufactured in India. The SMBs being provided to NEOM are all weather products and can work seamlessly during sand storms and high temperatures too. Its inbuilt redundant wireless networking capabilities will enable the developers to monitor the power plant effortlessly to the string level.VNT will also be doing climate proofing and solarisation of critical MSC telecom sites.
In India, the telecommunications sector is a significant consumer of energy due to the extensive infrastructure required for network coverage and the increasing use of digital services.Balancing the expansion of network coverage and data services with energy efficiency is crucial for the Indian telecom industry.Initiatives towards reducing energy consumption by using high efficiency equipment’s & solarizing telecom sites not only help in cost savings but also contribute to the country’s broader sustainability goals and the global effort to combat climate change.
VNT is contributing to a more sustainable and environmentally conscious future, while also enhancing the reputation and value of our brand.From Fire & safety Division, A recent milestone for us is the successful implementation of the inaugural aerosol-based fire suppression system on INS Vikramaditya, the Indian Navy’s flagship aircraft carrier. This accomplishment underscores our dedication to delivering advanced industrial safety solutions. As a key player in fire safety solutions, we play a pivotal role in fortifying the carrier against potential fire risks, contributing to the safeguarding of our nation’s security forces.We also take pride in providing our safety solutions for the Vande Bharat project.
Apart from many other critical installations, we have also protected critical EX-ZONES of Numaligarh Refinery and not less than 250K telecom stations in India against the threats of thunderstorms.
BS: You’ve been in the market for an extended period and have experienced substantial growth. Could you elaborate on the strategies that have fuelled your expansion and success?
VNT :We are pleased to announce that Vrinda Nano Technologies has provided power management solutions to over 100,000 telecom sites, delivered combiner boxes and monitoring devices for more than 30 gigawatts of solar power plants globally, and successfully ventured into EV charger solutions across various sectors. With a track record of safeguarding over 250,000 telecom stations from climatic impacts like lightning, we have diversified into new verticals, serving consumer, industrial, railway, and defence sectors. Additionally, we have developed ultra-high-efficiency rectifiers and SMPS for telecom applications.
